In his 2007 volume, The Great Cacti: Ethnobotany and Biogeography of Columnar Cacti, Yetman documents columnar cacti throughout the Americas. Talking About Value: How to Own the ROI Conversation

Librarians and information professionals understand the value we provide to our organizations. Unfortunately, we are often competing against the perception that it’s all available for free on the web. Mary Ellen Bates will offer fresh perspectives on how to see ourselves and our libraries as strategic resources, how to look at our services from our clients’ perspective, and how to communicate our value in ways that get heard. This lively session will end with Mary Ellen brainstorming compelling messages based on participants’ success stories.
