9:00am – 10:00am: Docent led tours of Denver Botanic Gardens grounds (Meet at Helen Fowler LIbrary)

  • Self Care 2: Mindfulness in Bloom: guided practices provide prompts, soothing music and beautiful imagery filmed at the Gardens (Classroom 4)

2:30 – 3:00pm: Charles Robert Long Award of Extraordinary Merit (Sturm Family Auditorium)

Tour of Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Vail

Escape the city and enjoy some mountain air and scenery! Betty Ford Alpine Gardens will host you for a tour of the world’s toughest plants - those that live above where trees cannot survive.

If you are not driving yourself to Vail, Nanette Kuich, Education Director will meet you at Union Station in Denver at 9:30 am, and we will load the Bustang at 9:45 am, arrive in Vail for lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Enjoy a private tour of the Gardens, have some free time to wander the town and hop back on the bus at 3:45 pm and be back to Denver at 6:20 pm.

Round trip bus fare is $34 and the garden tour is a suggested donation of $10. Tickets for the Bustang can be purchased online or with exact change as you load the bus, $17 each way.
