Before starting an ebook download, please be sure that you have completed the following steps:
- Create an Adobe ID. If you do not have an Adobe ID, please click here to create one.
- You will need to download the Bluefire Reader app to your phone or tablet.
- On your device, click App Store (for iOS) or Play Store (for Android)
- Search for Bluefire Reader.
- Install it on your device.
- In your browser on your Apple or Android device, navigate to the ebook collection on the MCC Library catalog.
- Once you have selected the item you would like to download, click on the ebrary link in the Holdings tab in the catalog record.
- You will be taken to the ebrary log-in page. Log-in using your MCC email address or the email address you use to receive notifications from Mt. Cuba Center.
- The book information page will open. Click the
button.
- Follow the instructions on the screen:
- Choose your device: iOS or Android
- On the next screen, click Done with this step.
- On the next screen, click on the
button.
- The book will automatically download to Bluefire Reader for you to read now or later. Note that you may need to enter your Adobe ID and password to authorize Bluefire Reader and read your book.
The book will automatically be returned to the ebrary library at the end of the check-out period (generally 7 or 14 days, depending on the publisher).
If you want to return it earlier, you can click the i symbol next to the title in your library list. Next to the expiration date, you can click Return Item to return the book right away.
